Somebody's Watching
As high schoolers, we don’t always realize that our actions can affect more than just ourselves. No matter who you are, someone is always watching and looking up to you.
The way you carry yourself and act around others is very important. We should watch what we do and set a good example for the younger kids.
Kids from all of the Krum ISD campuses sent in letters about who their favorite high school student is and why. Here are a few of their responses: Ariana Price responded “Darrius Price is my favorite because he is my brother and he encourages me to play football and basketball. He is my favorite person in the world and I love him very much. He is the spirit of my life. I love him very much and thank you Darrius for being a brother.” “Houston Porter is a really good example in my religion and sets a good role” “Samuel Lira has influenced me to reach my goal in sports and band. He influenced me to be great at playing the saxophone.”
“Kassidy Hurst influences me because she is very nice, and when i see her play a sport she always has good sportsmanship.” “Michael Cosme is my awesome brother. He is cautious and protects me. He guides me through things and also helps me be a winner.” “The person I think is the kindest is Hattie Murray. She comes after school to hang out and she is really nice.”
“I like Colton Spradley because he always goes fishing with me and my brothers. He plays football and is a really good friend. Colton is a good person and taught me how to throw a net to catch a fish. He taught me some cool tricks for football and is just a great guy.”
